Troubleshooting Live Meeting:

If you are unable to hear audio when connecting to your Live Meeting session and you do not see a small telephone handset icon next to your name in the Attendee window, please try the following:

  1. Make sure you have joined the meeting using the Live Meeting installed client. You will not be able to hear the meeting audio using the Web Client.
  2. In Live Meeting, click Voice & Video.
  3. If there is an Orange box showing an error message, click the X to close the message and then click “Join Audio”. You may have to repeat this several times if you continue having initial audio connection problems.
  4. If you do not see an error message, try clicking on Options | Set up Audio & Video. Respond “Yes” to the dialog box to continue. You can test your audio & microphone & set your volume on this dialog and then click “Finish”.
  5. If you continue having audio connection problems, also try restarting your Live Meeting session.
  6. When you see the telephone handset icon next to your name, you should have a successful audio connection.
