Before starting the challenge make sure that you download and install Rapid SQL. Then run the Datasource Registration Wizard. The Wizard will help you register any DB2, Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server connections.

Please note: The connection information only needs to be set up one time for each database and can be saved locally or in a common catalogue for use by other Embarcadero products.

1. Open the "Query Builder" (Tools > Query Builder).
2. Select the database/schema from the dropdown list.
3. Right-click on the tables you wish to query and select Add.
4. Relationships are drawn automatically. If no foreign keys exist, manually create them by selecting the primary key and dragging it to the appropriate foreign key.
5. Execute the query.

Visual Query Builder lets you to construct, structure, and manipulate complicated queries without any knowledge of SQL syntax. It displays the interconnections of your queries as you work and its powerful visual components let you see your query grow and change to fit your needs.


What you just did can also be saved and retrieved at a later date. Simply select File > Save. When the time comes to modify the query, you have 2 options. Select File > Open and choose *.eqb in the files of type dropdown. The query builder will automatically open. If you're already in the query builder, select File > Open.
