Migration from Client/Server to Multi-tier with DataSnap and Delphi DataSnap platform for multi-tier provides powerful capabilities for developers. Now it’s easy to start a new multi-tier project with many variants of deployment. But sometimes the goal is to convert the existing Client/Server project into DataSnap version. Sometimes it needs the migration of the code style into pattern, typical for multi-tier programming. So we have a traditional project, implementing interaction with DBMS. How can we support migration? What should be easily change and what needs some refactoring? The presentation will consider the basic and reliable techniques, which will help you to upgrade the existing projects and get the advantages of new DataSnap multi-tier architecture.
