You will be responsible for developing the strategies for how we take those products to market to grow market share, outsmart competitors, and arm our global sales team. The focus is not solely on positioning product features but rather developing customer facing solution messages that speak to the problems your market is facing.

This position will be responsible for leading, a world class software development organization headquartered in Scotts Valley, California near the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. Our RAD product development organization works together across multiple geographies including St.Petersburg, Russia, Romania and Spain. The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering staff and architects using their years of experience and technical knowledge to guide important technical product decisions. In addition, they will also possess a strong track record of leading successful development teams in the software tooling field or related industries.

Primary Duties:

This position requires an individual who will be very passionate about their work with an intense desire to build great software development tools and technologies that improve the lives of software developers around the world. This position requires extensive and deep architectural experience in development tooling on the Windows or Mac Platform and will be a true technical leader with additional managerial responsibilities. Every day they will be called upon to make important technical decisions regarding product direction or feature implementation. They will determine the practicality of product ideas based on technical factors including development feasibility, costs and will be responsible for determining the best locations to perform development task across our international development sites. The candidate will be responsible for providing both phone and e-mail technical and service support to our customers, sales representatives, and distributors focusing primarily on our South American customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support for Embarcadero products. This includes communicating directly with customers via phone and e-mail to identify, reproduce, and resolve reported issues.
  • Promptly and accurately respond to customer queries by telephone and e-mail within Service Level Agreements.
