Alister Christie has been programming in Delphi since 1999, primarily building and maintaining applications for the real estate industry in New Zealand. In this role, he has also used other technologies such as C#, Ruby on Rails, Android/Java and others. However, Delphi is his favorite environment. Alister has been producing Delphi training videos on LearnDelphi.tv since about 2006. Most of his videos also appear on YouTube, for which he has over half a million views and over a thousand subscribers.

In 2012, Embarcadero invited Alister to join a select group of Delphi experts from around the world to form the Embarcadero MVP program, to which fewer than 50 people worldwide have been admitted (and he is the only one from New Zealand).

Alister also plays guitar, invests in real estate, regularly works out at the gym, and, of course, maintains the LearnDelphi.tv website.

About LearnDelphi.tv
Alister has been maintaining LearnDelphi.tv since 2006. Although originally it was codegearguru.com, Alister rebranded it in 2011 as the new name was more focused on goals.  LearnDelphi.tv is now the premier website for providing video tutorials on how to use Delphi.  In addition to the free content that is available, Alister has also produced a commercial series of videos.  These videos go into far more depth and have better structure than free content provided, while still maintaining the informal style that makes his videos so popular.
