Embarcadero/Byte Academy Partner for C++ Builder Workshop

AUSTIN, Texas & NEW YORK - May 23, 2017 - Embarcadero Technologies, (a division of IDERA) a leading provider of software solutions for application development, and Byte Academy, specialists in industry-oriented tech education, today announced a partnership to create a unique developer community education initiative. On Sunday, June 4, 2017, the companies will conduct an “Introduction To C++ using C++ Builder” workshop on Byte’s New York City campus. For those who can’t attend the event, it will also be recorded and livestreamed.

The program Byte Academy has developed for Embarcadero demonstrates the organization’s role as an industry-oriented education leader focused on community building efforts”

Byte Academy’s C++ instructor, Jasmine Zanghi, will lead the workshop on one of Embarcadero’s key application development products. She will be supported by Embarcadero’s developer advocate Al Mannarino, who will integrate the C++ Builder platform into Jasmine’s introductory C++ curriculum.

Emily Hunt, director, who leads Byte Academy’s partnership and community building initiatives, explains, “Currently many partners that we engage with through hackathons, workshops, hiring and curriculum development are Python, FinTech, Blockchain or ‘Big Data’ focused. We are particularly excited to launch our partnership with Embarcadero, a C++ product focused company with more than 500 employees worldwide, as it marks Byte Academy’s expansion into other areas of technology education and community development.”

“The program Byte Academy has developed for Embarcadero demonstrates the organization’s role as an industry-oriented education leader focused on community building efforts,” said Embarcadero’s Mannarino. “Byte Academy works with companies to put together onsite, remote and corporate training curricula so that it develops students’ skills most needed by employers. Byte Academy’s offerings and corporate training programs include: fullstack web development, FinTech (financial technology), Blockchain, Data Science, Quant Algos and cybersecurity.”
